Abstract: Objective: To contact outfitter camps in the Thorofare area to identify grizzly bear/hunting camp conflicts, and to trap, collar, and subsequenty aversively condition any bear that may be causing consistent problems. All camps contacted were informed of the availability of manpower and our aversive conditions program to help them during bear/camp conflicts. Camps were not inspected for food and feed storage compliance; however, any observable negligence was noted.
