Abstract: Objectives Survey for small mammal communities in a burn chronosequence. Determine the small mammal communities associated with seven different vegetation types throughout the park. Findings and Status Only the deer mouse (Peromyscus) was trapped at all sites. Water voles were identified at 2 locations. Five species of small mammals appear to be closely associated with specific habitat features.
