Abstract: Objectives included: (1) determination of the source of huntable elk within the Jackson area; (2) the extent of intermingling with the elk herds on the summer range, and; (3) the analysis of various techniques which could be used to measure changes which might take place in the migration routes and relative density of elk on the summer range.
