Abstract: Objectives Contribute long-term population and demographic information on target landbird species by providing annual indices and longer-term trends in adult population size and post-fledging productivity from analyses of numbers and proportions of adults and young birds captured during the breeding season; and annual estimates and longer-term trends of adult survivorship, adult population size and recruitment into the adult population from analyses of mark-recapture data on adult birds. Findings and Status 174 individuals of 24 species were captured and banded in 1998, the first year of operation of this MAPS station. Most abundant species were: yellow warbler (46), Lincoln's sparrow (18), dusky flycatcher (12), MacGillivray's warbler (12) and song sparrow (11).
