Abstract: Objectives Compare bird densities and species composition in 2 habitats in GTNP willows and grass-sage, 1966 data with 1991-92 data. Findings and Status 1. In general, long-term variations no greater than year to year variations. 2. Willow wetter now, but to more beavers and 3. Changes in willows habitat tracked by changes in birds, but 4. Some SPP are inexplicably scarcer now than 25 years ago.
