Abstract: Objectives To determine nesting requirements and influences, migration routes and timing, and wintering areas of Red-tailed hawks that breed in Grand Teton National Park. Findings and Status Four adult RTHA were fitted with 20 gram PTT satellite transmitters in April, 1999. Three were tracked to wintering areas in Mexico. Departure times from GRTE was mid-September. Arrival times onto wintering areas was approximately 30 days later. All three transmitters continue to send locations from Mexico.
