In 2010 32% of hunters in the Jackson Hole area used non-lead ammunition. This resulted in a 45% drop in the lead levels in eagles. This page provides information on lead rifle bullet fragments and their impact on wildlife. Also included is information on the 2011 hunting season non-lead ammunition program.
Bibliography of current and historic publications of biological research conducted in the Upper Snake River Ecosystem. The USRRC is a central resource center for biological research conducted in the area.
The bibliography will be supplemented by conferences and web bulletins to provide a single source reference point for work in the area as well as to promote communication and cooperation between researchers, management and the community.
