Abstract: Objectives 1) Determine the number and distribution of coyote pack territories during the breeding season or pre-whelping period on a landscape basis in Jackson Hole Wyoming. 2) Estimate a minimum, pre-whelping population estimate for Jackson Hole, Wyoming. 3) Provide baseline data that could be used to monitor changes in coyote distribution, productivity and population size due to suburban development and wolf recolonization. 4) Provide baseline data for the design and implementation of further coyote research in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
